Inspired at Festival of Work 2026. Excited for 2027.

Attending the CIPD Festival of Work as visitors was an inspiring experience filled with learning, networking with industry professionals, and exploring the latest developments shaping the future of work. In fact, we were so motivated by the discussions and energy that we’ve already booked our stand and will be returning next year as exhibitors!

Throughout the event, one message stood out clearly: the workplace is evolving faster than ever. Conversations surrounding AI, Employee Experience, Workforce Planning, Attendance Management, and data-driven decisions Making it highlighted the growing need for practical HR technology that empowers organisations to make smarter, more informed choices.

At the same time, mental health support remains a pressing issue. Over half of employees report they haven’t received adequate mental health resources. HR leaders are being urged to set boundaries, prioritise their own HR well-being, and foster a supportive workplace culture to combat HR burnout. There is a vital need for comprehensive support and a clearer division of responsibilities between HR and managers. It’s time to recognise the pressures on leadership and invest in mental health—it’s time to Make Time For HR.

As specialists in time recording and time attendance, it was encouraging to hear how many organisations are actively searching for HR software and workforce management tools that reduce administrative workload, improve operational visibility, and help managers make confident decisions.

A standout moment of the day was Richard Osman’s keynote. His insights on creativity, adaptability, and simplifying complex ideas reinforced a crucial truth: while technology continues to transform the workplace, people remain at the heart of every successful organisation.

We were also grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many passionate professionals, including the team at Investors in People, whose latest white paper sparked some thought-provoking discussions.
