Managing structured breaks while keeping daily working hours accurate and consistent is easier with the latest features in Allday Freetime (Build 20.26.0.1). The latest release introduces Paid Break Zones within the MyShift scheduling module, giving businesses greater flexibility when managing employee breaks.
How to Set Up Paid Breaks
- Go to Settings > My Shift Settings and edit an existing template or click Add New to create one.
- Select Add New Zone, define the break window by setting the earliest out time and latest in time, and choose the days when the break should apply.
- Select Paid Break, set the maximum break duration, such as 15 minutes, and save the settings.
- Allocate the updated shift template to the relevant employees and choose whether the changes should also be applied to historical timesheets.
Paid Break Zones provide a practical way to manage scheduled breaks while ensuring paid break time is handled consistently within employee shift patterns.
With flexible MyShift scheduling, businesses can create structured shift templates that reflect their working arrangements and make day-to-day attendance management easier.
